The Elevation Project”: Empowering Young People Through Music and Skills Development

Conscious Youth C.I.C is a trailblazer in youth empowerment and creative education, and we are thrilled to introduce “The Elevation Project,” an innovative music initiative aimed at nurturing young talent and providing hands-on experience in music production, artist development, and the music business.

 “The Elevation Project” is not just about creating music; it’s about empowering young people to explore their creativity, develop valuable skills, and unleash their potential,” said Josh Depass at Elevation Music C.I.C.

Through this project, participants will not only create a theme song for a festival but also embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Led by experienced mentors and industry professionals, participants in “The Elevation Project” will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of music production, from songwriting and composition to recording and mixing. They will also receive guidance on artist development, including performance techniques, stage presence, and building a brand.

 “We believe in providing young people with the tools and resources they need to succeed in the music industry,” Theo Senior, Youth Worker at Conscious Youth. “By offering mentorship, training, and real-world experience, we are empowering the next generation of musicians, producers, and industry leaders.” 

Participants are currently working collaboratively to create a theme song for the Huddersfield Literature Festival. Over the next fortnight they will record music and showcase their talents and creativity at their very own event ‘Conscious Hour’, at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Friday 19th April 7-8pm.
